Nos complace extender la invitación realizada por la Junta Directiva del Capítulo Brasileño de la Sociedad Internacional de Análisis Bayesiano (ISBA) y compartir la información sobre el VIII Congreso Bayesiano de América Latina (COBAL) y el 18º Encuentro Brasileño de Estadística Bayesiana (EBEB), que se celebrarán conjuntamente en Búzios, Río de Janeiro, Brasil, del 1 al 5 de marzo de 2027.
El evento es organizado por el Capítulo Brasileño de la ISBA y cuenta con el apoyo de la ISBA, la ABE (Asociación Brasileña de Estadística), la AME (Asociación Mexicana de Estadística), la SOCHE (Sociedad Chilena de Estadística) y la SCE (Sociedad Colombiana de Estadística).
La Sociedad Colombiana de Estadística participará con una sesión temática en el marco del evento.

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that, from March 1 to 5, 2027, the VIII Latin American Bayesian Congress (COBAL) and the 18th Brazilian Meeting on Bayesian Statistics (EBEB) will be jointly held in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The event is being organized by the Brazilian Chapter of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) and is supported by ISBA, ABE (Associação Brasileira de Estatística), AME (Asociación Mexicana de Estadística), SOCHE (Sociedad Chilena de Estadística) and SCE (Sociedad Colombiana de Estadística).
The COBAL-EBEB 2027 program will include plenary lectures, sessions dedicated to young researchers, short courses, invited sessions, thematic sessions proposed by the community, oral communications, and a poster session.

We invite statisticians, data scientists, researchers, and professionals to share your expertise and contribute to define the future of statistical sciences.
Submissions for Proposed Thematic Sessions are open until July 30, and submissions for Oral and Poster Presentations will be open until August 30.
